Lewis Slides Off

Lewis Hamilton today lost control of his McLaren Mercedes during testing for the forthcoming Formula One season.

The 23-year-old slid off the Circuito de Jerez track on McLaren's third day of testing their new MP4-23 car at the Spanish venue.

Hamilton, who was unhurt in the incident, carried on his session after mechanics cleared the car of gravel. Last Friday, the Stevenage-born driver tested his new car successfully alongside Pedro de la Rosa.
