Flavio's Faith In Alonso

Formula One Renault boss Flavio Briatore says Fernando Alonso will find it much easier at his team than at McLaren.

Alonso returned to Renault after a difficult season at McLaren, where he had bust-ups with team principal Ron Dennis and rookie team-mate Lewis Hamilton.

Alonso's new partner Nelson Piquet jnr is about to start his first F1 season but when asked if there is a chance of a repeat of the McLaren furore Briatore said: "That's impossible. Nelsinho is an intelligent boy. He knows what he wants. Having Alonso as team-mate is a great opportunity."
